Find-a-job.com.au is a public service initiative, provided FREE of charge to both Employers and Jobseekers, which is funded by the sale of product on the Job Creation Project Sweet Stands located in businesses up and down the eastern seaboard of Australia. The Job Creation Project Sweet Stands are run by The Job Creation Project Pty Ltd, (hereinafter called “the Company”) which also runs this site.
The following Terms of Use must be read and agreed to before accessing and using the services available on this website. This document may be modified at anytime and modifications made will take effect upon the posting of the modified agreement on the website.
Ticking the box when registering to use this site confirms that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Use and that you understand they may be updated from time to time. It also confirms that you have read, understood and accepted our Privacy Policy.

No implied guarantee of results
There is no guarantee of job offers or of finding suitable employees through registration on this site.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms of Use, and it should be noted that the Company disclaims all liability to you in the event that there may be any unauthorised use of personal information that you may lodge on this site.
Responsibility for all information you may enter
Both employers and jobseekers have the ability to upload information to this site. In doing so, users agree that they are responsible for such information.
Each user personally warrants the legality and accuracy of all information they may enter.
All parties must supply certain details to use this site, including a password. All parties are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of both their username and password, and are also responsible for all activities that occur under their username. Furthermore they agree to immediately notify The Company of any unauthorised use of their username or any other breach of security. Login password may be changed at any time by following instructions once logged in.
Updating of information
Although we will email reminders to all parties to ensure information and listings are kept current, the ultimate responsibility for the updating information rests with each user.
Indemnity
All users of this service indemnify and keep indemnified, the supplier of this service from all liability. This includes, but is not restricted to matters of:
- any loss incurred due to misuse of information on this site
- any loss incurred due to not finding an employee
- any loss incurred due to hiring an employee found on this site
- any loss incurred due to not gaining employment through this site
- any loss incurred by accepting a position advertised on this site
- any loss incurred through any interaction with this site whatsoever
No guarantee of service
As the Company relies on third party providers for service, eg our webhosts etc, we can give no guarantee to you that the service available on this website will be uninterrupted or error-free or that any defects in the service will be corrected. Furthermore we cannot guarantee the delivery of any communication through this site as we are also reliant on all parties registering their correct email details.
Viruses and integrity of Data
While the Company makes every effort to ensure the integrity of its data, and that messages sent through the site will be free of viruses, worms or other code that may contain contaminating or destructive properties, it makes no guarantee to this effect. It is the user’s responsibility to implement procedures to satisfy your requirements for such security and protection, and the Company accepts no responsibility for any losses that may result from such problems.
Employment Agencies
This site is available for use by Employment Agencies free of charge, in order to maximize the possibilities of employment for Jobseekers, and the filling of vacancies for Employers.
However, there are certain restrictions placed on Employment Agencies:
- An Agency must disclose ANY potential charges to any party in ALL correspondence to that party.
- An Agency must be cleared by Find-A-Job as a BONA FIDE Employment Agency before being granted access to this site.
By applying for registration as an Employment Agency, the applicant acknowledges that they understand and accept that our system will carry warnings on all communications between themselves and our Employers and Jobseekers, that charges may apply to their services.
Agencies must also note that as from 21st July 2008, they are expressly forbidden from registering as an Employer or Jobseeker, and should they be found to have done so will be permanently banned from this site.
Legal Use of Site
All users of this site warrant that they will only use this service for lawful purposes.
Furthermore they warrant that they will not:
- Send unsolicited mail or e-mail, make unsolicited phone calls, nor fax any other party regarding promotions and/or advertising of products or services
- Delete, change or in any way interfere with any material posted by any other party
- Use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of this website or any activity of this site
- Take any action which imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the website's servers
- Attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or in anyway interfere with any of the software that runs this website.
Right to terminate a User
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue all of its legal remedies, including but not limited to deletion of your postings from this website and terminate your registration with or ability to access this website upon any breach of these Terms of Use.
Severability
If any parts of this agreement is held invalid, that part shall be severed from this agreement and the remainder of this agreement will continue to be valid and enforceable.
Governing Law
The laws governing this agreement will be the laws of Queensland, Australia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its Courts.
